Egg Timer

Precision egg timer with size adjustment and altitude correction. Boiling point drops at altitude, so eggs need extra time.

  • Soft-boiled: ~3 min (small) to 4 min (XL) – runny yolk
  • Medium: ~6 min – jammy, set edges with liquid centre
  • Hard-boiled: ~9–11 min – fully set yolk
  • Altitude correction: add ~30 s per 300 m above sea level
  • Start eggs from cold water for consistent results
